What? WLS & Exercise is Possible?

All I can say is DUH to this article. : ) And as far as the next step of "can it actually help them to maintain that weight loss"...My vote: Yes. For me I would not have gotten to where I am today or maintained the loss after all this time without exercise. Plus, in addition to being thinner, I really want to be healthy and strong. I'm not sure how those goals can be achieved without exercising (related post). Anyway, I thought someone else might want to read the article.

I've become a proponent of exercise. I know that my efforts would not be nearly as successful without my daily trip to the gym.

Thanks for the article. I love these "captain obvious" articles...they are funny. Did you read those crazy comments from readers below the article? yikes.

I think this article is dumb. Seriously? You need to exercise to be healthy? Who knew?? I mean...it just screams "DUH" to me. I know there are people who think you don't have to exercise to lose weight but I think we can all agree you have to exercise (think "be active" here...not talking about killing yourself at a gym) to be HEALTHY. Thanks for posting the article!

I agree with Manda. I don't think you necessarily have to exercise to lose weight or to be skinny. But if you want to be healthy, exercise is a must. Thanks for sharing!
