Crap!

So, I did my 5K on Saturday. My goal was to enjoy the 5K. I just went with the flow and finished in under 28 mins. WOW, was I shocked! Honestly, I wasn't pushing it. When I got close and saw what my finish time could be I was shocked. My fitness has seriously gone through the roof from bootcamp.

The crap? Uh, I "misplaced" (lost!) my transmitter for my Polar. It's the thingy that snaps on to the strap and works with the watch to give the heart rate. OOOOPPPS! I have continued to look high and low for it, but I think it could be gone. That little sucker costs half of what a new Polar costs! I am pissed at myself. I am going to wait a week or so and see if I can find it. I am guessing that my hubby will suggest me wearing my Garmin instead. Which is fine for a run, but not for bootcamp. It's just too dang big. *sigh* (Oh, and if anyone has seen my transmitter - or has a spare that they want to give me (ha) - please email me!)

28 minutes! Holy crap. I want to be you when I grow up. :) This cold weather sure is getting in the way of my running. Have a great week!

28 minutes is great! I'm WALKING a 5k this saturday. going to sign up tomorrow actually. it's part of the Marathon Bahamas weekend. The real athletes hit the road on Sunday.... this is the short one. Haven't done more than about 2.8 miles since I started exercising again so will probably be wiped out at the end of it. no idea how long it will take.
