I normally at least post on Wednesday - my weigh in day. Things have been hectic, so I didn't get around to it. Here's the scoop that covers two weeks: (170's here I come!!!)
Official weigh in stats:
Starting weight: 234lbs
Current weight: 181.5lbs (loss this week - 1/2 pound)
Overall loss: 52.5lbs
Lbs to goal: 32.5lbs

Hello, just found your blog. We are the same height and had our surgeries a week a part, so I'm interested in your progress and your goals. I had the RNY, and am happy with it so far. I DO feel however, that lap band people are forced to learn to deal with food sooner, so I'm very interested to follow your blog to see what you are learning, how you are managing.

Sandi - I've been reading your blog for some time. Thanks for stopping by. WOW! To be at 150 CONGRATULATIONS!!! What is your goal weight? Mine is to be 149. I will be thankful to get there. It gets harder and harder to lose and the band is slow. Yep, I've kinda hit a slump. I'm not sure that bandsters are forced to deal with food sooner. I have found many ways to eat around the band --- definitely not good. I think that if I had RNY that some of the things I have done would cause me to dump - that might stop me? So, I think there are pluses and minuses to both. We'll have to compare notes. Keep in touch and I'll do the same.
