Worth the Read

Please consider going and reading this article:

Weight: Why One Size Doesn't Fit All

The author of the article and her mindset on where she is does a great job of describing where I am trying to be in my personal journey at this point, but I think there are nuggets in there for anyone! I loved this:
Just remember that weight is subjective. One person's idea of overweight is another's person's idea of just right. You decide what is good for you. I've always been happy with my body and never wanted to weigh a number that I have to constantly struggle to maintain. Life is for enjoying. I'm happy with me. No one should set rules for how I should feel.
This is exactly where I am striving to be: "Life is for enjoying. I'm happy with me."

I cannot agree more. We are so hung up numbers be it the scale or the clothes hanging in our closets. So many reach that number eventually and still find that it is not ENOUGH!

I do not want to be that woman, I am finally truly happy and love me, just as I am, I know that the rest of the weight will come off now, simply because I choose to be healthy for the first time in my adult life.

great post!

This article is awesome!!! I have always loved me. I loved me at 311 lbs...and I love me now at 263 lbs. I know the weight is going to go away. I enjoy the idea of not letting life pass you by. That is where I am now. I hope to continue going on this path of success.

Great article! I've struggled with the self esteem issues so I know that I'm still going to have these issues regardless of size. And while I haven't reached a "zen" place with the number on the scale, I have with the number in my pants...meaning my SIZE (get your head out of the gutter! lol). As long as it fits, and it looks GOOD, I'm happy. Whether it's a 12, 14 or 16...
